what dating sites have you had the best luck on? my apologies if this is better suited for r/ dating_ advice but i wanted to try and get as many reputable answers as possible. i' m ready to start dating again, but i need to make a new account. i just have okcupid and i think that is the best option you can get online.

a specifically trans dating site sounds nice as an idea, but it would just be crawling with chasers, kinda like r/ meettransgirls, but serious.

i tried online dating at the end of last year and deleted it after a month because i got overwhelmed but i did continue talking to the existing matches i’ ve made. at least three guys have said something along these lines after just meeting me once or twice. is this some sort of line that is often used? just out of curiosity. online dating is work. you gotta write tons of openers, carry dozens of boring conversations, pretend being flaked out on is totally cool, and possibly eventually meet and outdo every other thirsty bastard who got this far.

i am very new to online dating, and have had women appreciate my inquisitive initial messages. but after that i found it hard to transition because i guessed i expected tit for tat. thanks for the tip on the 3- 1 ratio of questioning. i avoided this at first to steer clear of the " interview" tactic but i guess online is a different ball game. addressing those things ( if they apply) is good advice for its own sake: improving my clothing, hairstyle, fitness resulted in me feeling better, getting better treatment in the workplace and among friends but did not make one iota of difference in my outcomes on online dating sites.
